Kay grew up in Aledo, TX and moved to Abilene in 2010 to go to school at Hardin-Simmons University. She graduated in 2013 with her Bachelor of Behavioral Science in Psychology. She then moved to the Dallas area to attend school at Texas Woman’s University, and graduated in 2015 with her Master of Science in Counseling and Development. She married her husband in 2016 and they moved to Oceanside, California for a year, and subsequently moved back to Abilene in 2017.
Kay has extensive experience working with individuals who need crisis intervention, have experienced trauma, and have depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and relationship problems along with many other presenting issues. She enjoys spending time at home with her dog and husband and engaging in activities with her friends and church community!
